Get ready to celebrate 20 bloody years of Shaun of the Dead. Edgar Wright’s cult classic zombie comedy will launch an immersive pop-up experience during San Diego Comic-Con next week.
The Shaun of the Dead pop-up promises to transport visitors into the universe of the film. Fans will explore a recreation of the Winchester Tavern, complete with interactive photo ops. Attendees can snag exclusive merch and giveaways, check out game demos, and enjoy a complimentary can of themed beer courtesy of Beer Zombies (guests 21+ only, while supplies last).
The experience will let guests be among the first to play the Shaun of the Dead-inspired level of the upcoming co-op action game, Funko Fusion. The game will release in the fall.
Beer Zombies Brewing Co. will provide guests with a complimentary can of the “Winchester Plan”, a European-style lager.
The Shaun of the Dead pop-up experience is free to attend, and as an offsite, does not require a Comic-Con badge for entry. However, due to anticipated demand, you will need to reserve a time-specific slot to get in. Reservations open to the public on July 17 at 8am PT. Visit the event website to make your reservation.
